Name?

I love this tree but I don't know what it's called. I have one in a pot and one in the ground.

Please tell me the name if you know it. In Kuwait, the Arabic name for it is: Fitnah.

Update 22 06 2008: It's called Plumeria.  Thank you Ariston.

Hi Mohammad,

I wasn't going to say it was an oleander but although it's similar this is definitely a frangipani.

Found your site whilst Googling Ahmadi. I was born in Ahmadi. My dad worked for the KOC. We left when I was almost 11 to return to "sunny" Scotland. Had a great time as a kid in Kuwait.
We lived in one of those small bungalows (10, 2nd Rd North), not far from the Hubara Club.
Am a photographer now. Like your pix.

Thank you for the comment Andy. Ahmadi is still a pretty town - but I have to say it's not the same please you grew up in. We need to pay attention to detail in Kuwait as a whole. I live in Mangaf, which is close to Ahmadi.

Nice to hear about Scotland. We spent two summers there - basing ourselves in Stirling with daily trips to the lakes and the cities nearby. I hope I don't sound like a tourist when I say Edinburgh is my favourite. People in Scotland are very friendly... as long as we don't mention we had come from England :)
