Ikaros Images

I'm not experienced in designing websites, nor am I fluent in html.  A few years ago, I had a website which I designed using Microsoft Publisher but I didn't like the tedious work involved in uploading the files.  Whether it's because things in general have advanced, or in fact that the Mac world has always been more friendly, using iWeb is a completely different story.  I can update a website's content literally with a press of a button.

I re-registered an old domain of mine and today I am pleased to share it with you. I've started putting some photographs on after designing the overall template.  On this website, I will add my favourite photographs including some that may not appear on my blog.  The camera above is my father's Chinon CX.  It's more than thirty years old and it still works beautifully.

Check it out from time to time: www.IkarosImages.com

Mabrook ! your website is lovely! Very simple yet elegant. Like the exif info that you've added for each picture. Hope to see more additions in the future. :)

Thanks Mathai. Appreciate the nice words.

I blab enough on this blog (and I've added a link to it on IkarosImages) so I thought it's better to keep it simple.

The exif data is to make me more aware when I shoot. I'm trying to learn more and cut down on the trial and error.

Thank you :)
That double decker shot was my first attempt at, what I later found out to be called, panning. It took around 50 shots and 3 hours to get this one. Now it takes me a little less time - but probably the same number of shots.

Thank you.
