Freeze Mandela

I'm out of the snow and back home today.  It's around 20ºc in Kuwait, which is a welcomed change for me.  This was London yesterday.  I woke up to a white blanket all over London Town.   Lucky my flight was late evening, and the weather calmed down considrable,  Apart from a twenty minute delay for de-icing, the rest of the flight was perfect.

I leave you with my last snow shots (at least for now) - ending with the statue of Nelson Mandela.  This was erected in August 2007 and, unbelievably, this is my first shot of it.

Love the Madiba statue, but I really laughed at the cute photo of the goose/duck (?)

Great shots.

It is too warm in Calgary (6 degree!), and the cute Alberta Geese flew over to Britain with the storm and the beaks turned to yellow. :)

Snow is enormously great, either slushy or powder. Everything seems quieted and cleansed.
