« Colouring In Time | Main | Abraj li'Kuwait »

It was time to see colour on UtterRelease so this seemed like a good post.  Some of you will know that I'm in the process of a significant change in my career.  The beautiful and natural change in these images fills me with confidence, and makes this a very timely post.  The photos are from earlier this summer in London.  We had spent the day in town and we stopped at the Natural History Museum on the way back home for a quick afternoon visit.  Just outside, the Butterfly house had a short queue and I quickly found us joining it.

It was not a big tent, but it was white which made the lighting just perfect.  All these were shot with my tiny new Leica, which I'm enjoying very much.  Apart from my iPhone, it's the only travel camera I will carry.  I really should find time to use it more often.  The next month or so will still pose a challenge, but should start to ease soon after that.

I hope things are working out buddy! I know you have been very busy!

Fantastic photos! I have been contemplating a Leica for some time, The M-9 is a beautiful machine but also it costs as much as car! LOL! I have a friend who has it produces amazing pictures, might steal it from him one day!

Thanks Marzouq. Things are going well ilhamdillah and I'm embarking on a big change in career. Slowing down a little, which is nice :)

The M9 is amazing in every way. I could spend hours just looking at one... However when I see what good photographers do with a camera like the iPhone one, or even with a good DSLR, it makes me realize that I have so much untapped potential in the equipment I already own. An M9 or equivalent will therefore have to wait... Probably for a while...
