The Art of Photography

I've been watching this podcast ever since it started back in 2008 and I've learned a lot from it.  I really like the presentation of the subject, techniques, equipment, media and artists.  The Art of Photography is more about the history, the methodology, the ideas and the art; not the latest cameras, lenses nor gadgets.  There is clearly no indirect sponsorship to the show nor any vulgar product placement - which ruins many other good podcasts.

Some of the episodes are more juicy in content than others and the syllabus seems more organic than rigidly-planned, which in my opinion is the charm of this show.  The presenter's pleasant style is very informal and easily followed.  This excellent podcast has been a great companion on flights and airport lounges for me.  I hope you find it as interesting.

I will be sure to check it out! I am one in great need to improve my picture technique, I still need to figure out what certain things do in the camera or how to get a shot! lol

(Any relations to Forbes magazine? :P)
